Guess who they are! The shoes and legs game
When I was a small child me and my mother used to play this game. She told me she learned it from her mother, they used to play the same game when she was small child – in the 1920’s. She used to pick me up from my nursery in Budapest, and travel on a tram No 61 for five stops. If we played the game, we were only allowed to look at the shoes and the legs of the people around us for a few seconds then guess the rest. We had to try to imagine and describe to each other the face and the personality – without looking up. Most of the time we were right. Nowadays sometimes I take photos of shoes and legs, and imagine who they ‘make’. You can play the game with me, here are twenty photos of women’s shoes and legs.
